Hi All,
Can anyone help us to sort out a badly removed Suzuki DT100 and get its wiring sorted out. We are told that teh outboard is mid 1990s. We think we have resolved all the main harness colours, except for the dark blue. The pale blue goes with the pink for the power trim, white is battery +ve and black is battery -ve etc..... But does anyone know what the dark blue is for ---- Tachometer perhaps?
Thanks
H Mattos

White is hot + , black is neg.- , light gray is hot + with key on , green is kill , pink and baby blue are tilt trim, Yellow is tach , dark blue is alarm buzzer , brown is start , orange is primer (choke).

Hi Pfridays,
Thank you for that answer - it will be a great help.
Do you also happen to know how we should set up the tacho settings. We have the options of 4 pole or 5 pole triggers, or we can set the 4 / 6 / 8 cylinder settings. It is a DT100 which is a V4 - any ideas?
Thank you again
HM

I don't know where your tach came from but it sounds like an inbord/automotive tach. Suzuki's all have a 12 pole alternator so you need a tach with a 12 pole setting.
