I'm prototyping a new canoe plans design.

Also trying to provide objective evaluation of using different grades of plywood. I invite everyone to follow along and comment.

Thanks,

Matt

Well, the desing in not really apealling. It is boxy and the lines don't flow. Also, the multichine design will produce a fair amount of material waste. Your definition of sit on top is tailored to advertising your product. Also, the link is an offer to invest, which should be posted in a different section of the forum

The hull shape and lines have a specific purpose. Like any design, there are trade offs.

If the link is not appropriate I'll trust the mods or admin to move or delete the thread as required.

What are you getting as tradeoff of an ugly design that wastes a lot of material?

But??? sit on top canoes are common round here they are made by Cobra.

The tourist use them to go round caves in Krabi. The are molded from PVC.
