Chaser in what way do you think it is not right, it seems to all go together. The front of the keel is a little abrupt. I would make the suggestion that you don’t use so many columns and rows as it make fairing surfaces a lot hard than it needs to be, only use the minimum to get the shape you want, having 30 columns and 4 rows for the stern surfaces is excessive when just 2 columns probably would have done.

Chaser the problem you seem to have in hydromax is that you haven’t put in a draft in maxsurf. Go to menu >Data >frame of reference > set base line then put in a draft and set water line.

Chaser,
I agree with 'bhnautika' in that your model is too complex in some places.
Try these for starters:
Re-name some of your surfaces with unique names - you have a few with the same name!
If your chine surface (or any other) is flat delete the intermediate rows and define it with top and bottom rows only.
Simplify the stern surface. You don't really need a transom if your side surfaces end OK.
Make sure the major hull surfaces have the same number of columns so you can bond all the adjacent edges.
When you calculate the compartments turn off any surfaces not relevant. I suggest this would include the keel. You can turn them back on when you calculate hydrostatics etc.
Make sure any internal surfaces defining tanks are indicated as such in the surface properties box.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck

Dear gwboats,
because i inport the 3Dmodel from rhino to maxsurf,so some surface have lots of columns and rows.
i supposeed all the surface have been joined,
you know we only can calculate the compartment in hydromax ,so i dont know how to turn off the keel in hydromax, and also tanks were defined in hydromax,so i cant to change anything in maxsurf surface properties box,

Chaser I don’t think this is a maxsurf problem but hydromax tank and compartment definition problem as I stated earlier I don’t have hydromaxpro just hydromax/s so I don’t have access to the tank definition sorry I cant help in that . As the model seems to be all right I suggest you start another file adding tanks and compartments one at a time and checking them as you go.

bhnautika,i would like to send the hydromax/p to you ,how can i sent the documents to you?,i have turned off the keel in maxsurf, and the above defects is resolved, but the calculation displacment is big difference,so i cant accept it.one more question, please see the attached file, how to solve that problem

Chaser I have no experience in those parts of hydromax pro so I don’t think I can help. I would say it could be a problem with “load case” and, or your centre of gravity position.

bhnautika,i want to understand ,if i can creat the tanks in maxsurf or not?,and then i just need to inport the complete model from maxsurf to hydromax,in this case ,if it is necessary to chang the properties of tank, surface use as internal structure.
