Hi

I am looking for design guide lines for Kort Nozzles and their Propellers. I prefer a free source but a book recommendation is welcome too. I am planning to cast a nozzle and prop from aluminum for a thruster but I would like a proven design before I go through all of the work.

Here is what I already know: http://jackson.parcabul.com/sub/thrusters.html

Thanks, Doug Jackson

PS: Dustin! You out there? Drop me a line. I lost your email 

The new (1989) PNA, Vol. 2 has the van Ossaninen coefficients for determining Kt, Kq, etc. and the geometry for the propellers and nozzle. From this you can get the thrust, torque, etc. as well as the geometry. You can get PNA on an interlibrary loan.

Nautican makes a higher speed nozzle, but it's proprietary.
