I'm a new Finnsailer 29 owner in the USA and would be interested in any information anyone might have on this type of boat. She seems an exceptionally well designed and built boat. Unfortunately I have little to no information on her various systems. Fortunately she is a relatively simple boat as regards systems.

Any information or leads to possible information or owners would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Steve Lesak

I believe the boat was made by fiskars boats - as far as I know the boat company doesn't exist in its old for anymore - they still make the aluminum powerboats (some models they have done for few decades now) the boating subsidiary of Fiskars is called Inha Works. They do not make fiberglass boats anymore and seems that the corporate structure has changed over the years. I think it wouldn't hurt trying to contact the company - they might still have some legacy material available.

Assuming that my assumption is correct.

Finnish sailing forums might give info too - most finns speak "ok" english.

Just for the record.. Allthough Finnsailers were and these aluminium boats known as Buster are Fiskars boats their manufacturing facilities had nothing else common and had nothing to do with each other..
