What are the intact & damage stability requirements for a 110m floating dock?

You won't get help unless you are specific. Your question appears to be unanswerable as stated.

Thank you for the reply Mr.Alan. We designed a floating dock length-110m, Overall Breadth - 40m, Pontoon height 2.5m, and width of each side pontoon is 4m. So, clear breadth for docking the vessel is 32m and the total depth is 13m. It is designed for a lifting capacity 4500T. I have seen Intact Stability Code, which gives special criteria for pontoons. Since it is dumb, and floats in sheltered waters, is there any specific damage stability criteria required to be followed. Please Help.

Mb,

You are asking questions involving a a structure that is normally designed by a specialized engineering firm. No amount of information supplied to me will produce a design that can take into account the many issues and design requirements of such a structure.
If you were building this dock, but needed help, your budget should have included the fee paid to an engineer to design it.
If this is simply an assignment you've been given to hand in, then it must have been hoped that you would figure it out yourself.
In any case, I can't help you.

Without counting that any answer other than "go to see an specialized engineering firm" could involve the responsibility of the answerer.
Guessing not allowed, complicated calculations, work for a specialist.

Look, when your teeth need care, you see the dentist and do not ask in a forum how you can repair a tooth. Same thing for this kind of calculations. A company having the money for a such pontoon would have not problems with the engineering fees.

Check out Army temporary metal bridges to see what floats them. and how they are held together.
Or floating bridges.

..there seems to be no specific damage stability criteria..If you check in LR, ABS, BV or GL rules you can find some suggestions on the minimum pontoon freeboard you have to maintain and also the suggested freeboard for the side walls at the maximum sinkage position....

Are there any requirements in India? The laws of each country are different or sometimes non-existing.
