Are there any of the hull design programs that can draw the vessel by loading in a table of offsets?
I'm about to start playing with these things for the first time, but I have a table of offsets for a very similar hull to start off with.
Yep... probably a dumb question. But if I don't ask I won't learn.
Thanks all.

That would be good, never heard of it.
I have CAD and MaxSurf and Rhino, but none of these can do that.

You should be able to get them into Delftship if you follow through post #6 in this thread:
http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/design-software/delftship-importing-text-files-table-offsets-26104.html
You can get a free version of Delftship or you can post your table of offsets and I should be able to get them into a suitable format.

failing the above
Paramarine version 6 does it all very neatly...and a whole lot more too. But it is not free.

Thanks all. I appreciate your willingness to answer what must seem like idiot questions, most of which you seem to have answered before. Much appreciated.
