Yep they sure are handy
I have an old south bend 16" x 10' built in the early 40's
Little worn but still more acurate than I LOL

Something to remember about old machines, many say that a new one is far more accurate....why.....it was made by an old machine!

Good ol milling machine is a lot of fun also. I bought some 316 stainless bar and planin to make some T tracks. Should be better than bolting aluminum ones down on steel decks.
Ever seen the price of 316 stainless sail track ?
