choosing a hydraulic helm pump

does anyone knows how to choose a hydraulic helm pump?
i think i need to calculate the torque, but how? i suppose it's not the torque of machines?

It more like the output to the ram displacement. depending on what boat you got, what auto pilot you intend to use, electric etc etc.
