I just purchased a used 1985 Sunray 16' with a 2.5 L OMC. The only thing it needs is an outdrive (it has one in the boat in about a hundred pieces) I was told it is probably a 400 stringer? I found another complete outdrive from '84 or '85 but it is attached to a 3.0L OMC. Are these outdrives compatible (I'm thinking yes) and if so is there any way to tell by looking at it if it is any good? Also I don't know the HP of this unit maybe 130HP?
