Anyone though of modifying a pressure washer and attaching a 6.5 hp lawn mower engine as a jet drive? is that possible?

jest me thinkin' aloud here...

A water jet like that will supply the (reaction)water with so much speed that much of that energy used will disappear in kavitation. The rest of that energy would give some propulsion, but how much?

better to use a centrifugal pump, more water, more mass in motion = bigger reaction force, better speed, better fuel econony.
