There was an article on tv a while back that had some guys experimenting with self repairing plastics, used in ie car bumpers.
With the bumper deformed (like when the wife drove it :rolleyes:) it repairs itself over some time. This is done by the molecular structure formed in such a way that the correct strands tend to want to lock up with it's original ones. The models they had at the time was semi-sucessfull and cold only self repair to an extent.
Are you planning to put a bumper on your boat :confused: Yer not planning to run Dannish over are ye ? :D
