I am doing a design project using hydromax and have reached a stage where i have to calculate the section modulus of the midship section of the new ship. how do i do this? Can anyone help please.

to calculate section modulus you need the midship section drawing and and have to do the calculation manually.
any book of ship structure can guide you.
i can refer "Strength of Ship structure" by William Muckle (Page 73)
