Hull Resistance Explanation

Hi I'm looking for a explanation on hull resistance symbols. Is there anywhere I can get a drawing of a vessel with all there symbols on and with an explanation of what the mean. I have google this question but i think I'm not asking the right question. Thanks for your help in advance.
