Hi Guys,
I've noticed that the beam dimension of 2.59 meters or 8'6" seems to be a popular size on trailerable boats. Is this just a coincidence or is there a reason like legal towing widths or something of that nature?
Cheers

you hit it right with the trailerable width being the legal width (in the states anyways)

Thanks Guys,
yeah, taking a closer look the 2.59m Beam is very much a USA thing. Here in Australia the limit is 2.50m so most boats here are at or approaching that width.
Thanks
