I asked this in the Software forum and so far I've got a resounding hollow hall sound of echo'y silence so I thought I'd try you builders.....
I'm on the verge of starting a kayak that will use the info from Carlson's Hull program. I'm wondering if any of you have built a boat from the offsets that this program spits out and how well the panels fit when cut to the lines. Or did you need to plan on some "fudge factors".
My design is for a Greenland style using stitch and glue that has a shallow V amidships and transitions to a raked fine entry so the bottom panels will be undergoing a lot of twist. Basically a 90% twist. I'm wondering about any allowances for this.
