¡Hola koanda, bienvenido a estos foros!
I find the book "Hydrodinamics of High-Speed Marine Vehicles" (Odd M. Faltensen. Cambridge University Press) very complete.
Cheers.

Welcome to the forum koanda.
Guillermo, would the book be worth getting if only interested in hovercraft/air cushion vehicles?

George,
the book is rather mathematical.
Chapter 5 is devoted to Surface Effect Ships. Here its contents:
5.1 Introduction
5.2 Water level inside the air cushion
5.3 Effect of air cushion on the metacentric height in roll
5.4 Characteristics of aft seal air bags
5.5 Characteristics of bow seal fingers
5.6 "Cobblestone" oscillations
5.6.1 Uniform pressure resonance in the air cushion
5.6.2 Acoustic wave resonance in the air cushion
5.6.3 Automatic control
5.7 Added resistance and speed loss in waves.
5.8 Seakeeping characteristics.
5.9 Exercises
5.9.1 Cushion support at zero speed
5.9.2 Steady air flow under aft-seal air bag
5.9.3 Damping of cobblestone oscillation by T-foils
5.9.4 Wave equation
5.9.5 Speed of sound
5.9.6 Cobblestone oscillations with acoustic resonance
Also there are several other considerations on SES at the other book's chapters.
Cheers.

koanda,
there are several classic books on the subject as:
"Cruceros y lanchas veloces" Juan Baader.
"High speed small craft" Peter du Caine
"Naval Architecture of planning hulls" Lindsay Lord
"Naval Architecture of small craft" Phillips-Birt
"Proyecto de embarcaciones a motor" Ricardo Martín Domínguez
I don't know the availability of such books in the market.
Also there is a chapter devoted to planning boats in "Principles of Yacht Design" Rolf Eliasson & Lars Larssen. This book is very concise and 'user friendly'.
Otto Ranchi, member of these forums, told me about another book he considers pretty good. You may ask him.
Cheers.
