Hello…
I would like to open a discussion regarding the merits of building large motor yachts of foam cored FRP construction using negative frames…
How would you do it...
How do get workers into the hull for coring and lay-up – strip coring or plank coring – overhead scaffolding or other…
If anyone knows of any shops doing same – please advise and post photos and links…

Talk to a few surveyers. The stuff has a bad reputation.

anything about boats.
Is a frame for foam panels similar to KSS but on the outside?
Is it applying glass cloth and resin on the inside first?
"getting the workers in there" is not really a problem, but making sure everything is done right might be a challenge.

Are we talking about something like the method at
www.bourneboats.com.au
where the interior is built before the exterior hull?

Hello...
Got distracted with all the things to do - eat, sleep, gas up the car...
Yes and No..:)
I am talking about cost effective ways of building large 'one of' motor yachts in sacrificial negative framing and temporary moulds - thus not committing to the cost of a plug and the roll over – but I realise now that either way there has to be a roll over - for the outer 'skinning' – because I get stupid sometimes – or that I just am …
Really just looking at ways of creating large temporary nagative molds for one or two pulls - assuming a grand fairing a paint crew...
The more that I sit on my ass and really think about it – rather than revel in the new Battlestar Galactica series on TV – I see that this idea it is just a false economy – unless someone has a ‘Eureka’…
Sorry – never mind me…

err... I assume that you're actually referring to building over a male mold.
Nothing out of the ordinary or unusual in that - it is indeed how most one-off (or even low volume production) boats are built
