Just an FYI:

I've finally finished the plans for the Great Alaska, a BC Trawler styled (forgive me) trailerable planing hull designed for offshore. It is a wood-composite (stitch-n-tape) constructed boat. You can build it from 25 to 28 feet in any of 3 designs or styles (the 'Rockport', downeast style; the 'Prince Rupert', BC style; or the 'Newport', pacific northwest/Alaska sport style.) Our URL:

The construction manual (2 parts) includes 200+ pages and is written for the first-time builder with no experience. Many photos and figures illustrate the building process. There are 29 plans drawings in the plans set as well, with all major components and assemblies drawn and documented for easy understanding. No special tools required, just standard saws and sanders etcetera ...no band saws, planers, etc.

There are 6 in construction that I know of and the first should launch by next Summer (if all goes well.) Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Brian
