Has anyone seen any plans for a home-built boat that actually has a trailer or trailer frame built into it? Maybe with detachable or fold-up wheels?
(Am I nuts?) Sounds like something that would be in an old Pop Mechanics article. Any ideas on the project would be greatly appreciated- I'm a neo-phyte at boat-building!

"Derek Kelsall has an interesting approach with his Amkat: http://www.kelsall.com/amkat.htm The hull tuck under the bridgedeck, and have wheels mounted in them. Unfolded, they're built-in fenders. Folded, the boat becomes its own trailer."

This shows us our vanity. I designed a boat with an integrated trailer and I am sure many hundreds of others did also. We all thought we were so clever!
