Hi Daizda,
The world of 'open' style boats around 30ft is in flux at the moment. Apart from your part of the world, the Mount Gay 30 has never really gained momentum. However Dudley Dix does have a set of plans for home building.
At the moment, there are efforts being made (principally by the French) to promote an alternative 'Class 9,50', but it is still a little early to catagorically say if this is going to be anymore successful. One 'doubt' hanging over it is a rumour that the ISO is going to revise its RCD STIX allowance for built-in buoyancy, which these boats rely apon to gain their CAT A categorization.
Sorry about the lack of specific links, but if you Google some of these topics, you will find lots more information.

Try Geoff at Van Gorkom Yacht designs www.vgyd.com.
He has both VG30 (MG30) and Open 30 designs.
The Classe950 rule looks like a updated verison of the W30 MG30 & LD30 rules with less constraints.
The Classe950 is alot less extreme that the Open 30 rules.
The W30, MG30 & LD30 rules have died it didnot get to critical mass. The Classe950 looks like it should get more traction.

The boats look very good, idea for shorthanded sailing (2crew) offshore (4 crew) and round the buoys (6-7 crew).
