1968 imp aztec

i dont really know where to look.. im new to boats and i just picked up a 1968 imp aztec 5 with a chevy 283 v8 i believe in it.. interior and everythign was really good on it.. and i only paid 1500 for it ..


i took it out on the water and the carborator didnt want to open up so it just stayed in idle.. the battery died out on the water.. and when we got back to shore.. the trim didnt want to come up..

the trim motor either burned out or is seized up.. so im looking at getting it fixed but i cant for the life of me figure out the type of outdrive to have it looked at because the marines around here will only look at certain types..

any help would be awesome.. thanks
