Hello,
I have reason to believe that my fuel filler hose may be compromised, and would like to remove it, check it out, and then reinstall either the same or a new hose (depending on the condition of the current one).
Can anyone provide any tips? I have access to the spot under the floorboards where the filler hose attaches to the fuel tank, and can undo that hose clamp. Does the deck plate just come off by unscrewing it? Are there any safety measures to consider, such as the tank being full or empty?
Thanks, this applies to a 1988 Wellcraft 210 Classic Inboard/Outboard with Mercruiser V8 Alpha Engine.
