Though of English ancestory, I hate tea. I'll go for a strong coffee with 2-3 shots of expresso though.

Take care LazyJack. I gotta hit the sack again.

Tim mate I'm touched (can you let me know what you were drinking when you wrote those words I'd like to try it?)

As for the tea, I'd know one you'd like - British Army special "Gunsmoke" (mug of hot tea, sugar, tinned milk and a large shot of strong rum - the idea was it strengthened the resolve on the battlefield, didn't have to many or you'd only be fighting for the toilet!)

You found me out Walrus. Started with a cold Coors draft at the pub while getting a sixpack. Bought the Busch because the price is good & the beers, well, drinkable. Ended with a Rum & Coke at my neighbors.

Much more than that and I feel like crap the next day. Was good all week so I felt it was time for a little "blood thinner", heart health & all that.

Went to the creek (we say crick) to fish earlier. There was an oilslick flowing out of a small tributary stream right upstream from where I sit. Called our state DEP. Said they'd have someone call me. Still waiting.

Hope your firstaid training went well. Get to revive any English hotties?

Take care.

Tim!! I,m not sure our friendship
can endure IF you are going to put mixers in your drink Simply put you are not having any of my best if you put lemonade in the vodka, coke in the rum, and ginger ale in my black label

LJ,

Generally I stick to beer. I'm not man enough to drink rum straight on a regular basis. Yukon Jack is about the only thing I drink clean, and that only on occasion. This was no quality rum to start with :(

cheers Tim, first aid training went well - I'm now qualified to watch somebody bleed! By the time I've got my bandages on them they've forgotten what they were doing in the first place! Everybody else has gone down the pub!

Tim,

You're a good guy, I call you friend ..... but watch out for the TWI (typing while intoxicated) :P :P . This thread started out OK but went downhill faster than an Alpine skier. When Walrus Mike calls you on your drinking, you know you're in trouble! :D :D

I hope the oil leaking into the creek gets fixed quick, and the responsible party dealt with. That sucks.
