Ref: Folding hatch cover design problems originally posted in "sname". Additional viewing information in re-constructioned 3d redering 4 viewport may help to identify problems visually and is presented to the source persion and for viewers additional comment.

Problems critical for tearing of the horizontal gasket at the panel #2 and #3 mating joints, due to reverse travel of the hatch covers in straightening the pivot link lines. Suggest to reapply seals at the vertical rim webs. Also, the original configuration imposed a stowage problem in webs crushing the adjacent panel when in the upright position. Additional longitudinal girder needed to be implemented. Possible increasing the elevation of track to lift panel off the gasket at the initial opening condition may be considered.

Reducing scantling by trimming the deep webs may also help.

The 3d file did not complete transmission, due to over capacity on 1.25 to 1.5 mb. The 2d view still can identify the problem.

Continued to insert the 3d file.

File open in volo view. You can download from Autodesk (free).

All views are in one file for wireframe display. The file size is very small, like a picture file. Transmission permitted in .dwf format.

Thanks to Jeff's input.

However, the surfaces on solids does not display. So it has lesser visual effects compared with .dwg files.

Thanks to Jeff's input:
Also thanks to Yipster's earlier reply to file transfer topic:

Verifying the opening status of the download able files. These files are down to 20 kb to 60 kb now and does not hold up the system both at the terminal and at the network.

These files were opened with blank sheets. Wondering what to do. It may be a minor configuration problem. Files are open through right click to file and select "save as web page" to ....location can be selected to "desktop". Now, they are viewable in Volo view. It is better to have volo view resident to respond to open the files.
