Fuel MIx Ratio and Lubrication

I have a 1979 Mercury 80 HP. I purchased the manual for it on CD but still cannot find where the proper fuel to oil ratio is or what oil is used in the lower end or trim pump. Can someone tell me?

Probably 50 to 1. I have a 1980 Johnson and it uses a 50 to 1 ratio. That was pretty common in that time period.

I have also recently acquired a 1979 Mercury, but a 70hp. Does your CD cover my Outboard ? (Serial No.9137920) If so, where did you get from ?
As i am also having problems with the charging side of things and could do with some help.
