Do you have any that are between 17 to 18 ft. with no more then 14 degrees of dead rise. I had posted in the past for the same thing with 12 degrees of dead rise with no one responding so I decided to raze the dead rise. Thanks. Sincerely, Tom.

Interested in the larger hulls but need some info on dimensions, etc. If you could email me zerolat@bellsouth.net The website listed really doesn't help showing the layouts, etc. Thanks!

Hard to say what models, not being able to see the profiles, etc. Probably definitely the bay boat. I'd probably toss the deck molds and make new decks. Looking to build something like 22 Pathfinder, Shearwater, etc. If you can drop me an email; I'll discuss in detail about what we are trying to do. Thanks!

I like the boats! Are there any legal issues with the copyright? I didn't see any information about the draft of the 18 footer. so what would that be? Thanks for your reply sir.

There are no legal issues with these boats. A copyright has never been applied for.

The draft on an 18 and 20 is 10 inches aft , at rest w/motor.

I am interested in this mold. But I am new to making boats. I do however make molds for myself for pouring ornamental concrete. So sir could you tell me what it cost to make this boat/ Then I would also like to know what it cost to rig it out, if this is a possibility? I would also like to see some pictures of this mold. thank you for your time. Also sir I would like to no about copyrights. Could you transfer all rights to this boat to me and I can get it copyrighted? thanks for your time sir.

You would have to get the original designer to sign off the molds to you, but you will get a bill of sale from the legal owner of the molds. I do know who the original designer is, but I don't know how to contact him.

Email me and I'll try to figure build costs and send photos.

does the boat building buisness work like the ornamental concrete buisness? a mold builder designs the product and copyrights it< makes molds off of it and sells the molds along withe the rights to reproduce it as much as he likes? wich only he can make molds off of? I am interested in your molds if i can reproduce it legally with no copyright issues! The reason i am interested in owning the copyright is so that I will be protected from any legal issues by reproducing this boat. Thanks for your reply.

jcharrie,

Here is some information on vessel copyrights. I can tell you these boats were modified Champion hulls from the early 90's built in 95 as Viper boats. 97 they became Cobra and 2000, Venom. None of these companies have ever applied for or received a copyright or patent.
