Marinized Chevy diesel

Does anybody marinize the Chevy pick-up diesel for marine use? Or know how its power/weight ratio compares to a 454 GM gas. Is that engine in fact an Isuzu?

In addition to those, you can do it yourself with watercooled exhaust manifolds from Barr or Osco. Read about the myriad changes that the above marinizer folks say that they do to the 6.5 and 6.2 to make them reliable. The 6.6 Duramax seems to be pretty good as is. It was designed by Isuzu.
