cleaning closed cell pore foam before glassing?

what solvent is safe to use for cleaning high density pore foam before glassing over it to seal it? i think acetone will dissolve it so i want to stay away from anythiong like that.:confused:

How dirty are we talking about??
If it is just dusty I would blast it with compressed air.

yeah it is just basically the dust from chopping off some and sanding it level

I would just vacuum and/or blow off with compressed air then.

done. thanks for the help. i blew it off then wet it out with epoxy and let it set for a couple of hours then laid glass. :D
