I found that CSM means Chopped strand mat.

But I still cannot find anything about the rest.

The most likely the translation is:

EU1600 = E-glass Unidirectional, 1600 grams/sq. meter

CSM600 = Chopped Strand Mat, 600 grams/sq. meter

DB600 = Double Bias (+/-45 deg weave), 600 grams/sq.meter

These appear to be European designations, so someone in Europe may correct me.

Also, does anyone know about a material named Aramat 72k/200 0/90o(degrees) ??

It would be very helpful too, if someone could explain the numbers.

thank you.

Well...
Ara- aramid? Mat- mat? 72k- fibers per yarn? 200- areal weight (g/m2)? 0˚/90˚- fiber orientation in fabric?

Eric,

Just to be a petulant arse,

DB probably knitted rather than woven.

That's what I meant. You use these designations enough and you start getting sloppy in the designations. DB is a double bias fabric that is knitted together so that the layers of fiber lay flat against each other.

Thanks for the correction.
