hello tanguy,

vpp and wave drag...
http://boatdesign.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1302
hope this helps, dionysis
This is not a vpp, only a part of it it ll give u only the drag part of the hull. The other parts will be lift of appendages, lift and drag of sails.
I am trying to develop one.
The values of drag found in the spreadsheet are very similar to towing tank test results.

It's not free, but at about $900 our SPAN program is one of the most cost effective VPPs around. It is a full Windows based program, is based on the published IMS algorithms, and accepts either a Maxsurf hull surface model (easiest), values from the IMS LPP or values from an IMS certificate.
You can download a demo by going to -
http://www.formsys.com/Maxsurf/MSIndex.html
and clicking on the Demos option at the top of the page.
