Any suggestions on how to remove large decals from the side of my boat without marking the gelcoat. Kevin

try using a hair dryer. this might leave some glue but this can be wiped with acetone or thinners.

I used one of those rubber wheels that gones on your electric drill. Available from most automotive supply stores. Worked really well, removing the pin strip and the glue. All it needed was a rub down with thinner before applying new stripes.

you can easily remove them with a little heat (hair dryer, heat gun on low) the acetone to remove the glue and finally buff it out with some polish

compound can also take out the glue but don't do that unless you're ready to wax the boat..
