Well guys,
The plans for the new project are on the way.. Bought, paid for and wife approved.
Construction is going to be foam/balsa bulkheads, strip cedar hull with E-glass, carbon rudders.
I have access to a CNC router to cut the bulkheads and other forms (MDF) for the strongback..
Before plnking down gobs of money for building material I was considering building a model of the boat in 10:1 scale and tring to build using same techniques.
Although epoxy bog will fill most any gap thought this might be a good idea.
Has anyone done this and have some feedback on if it is useful or a waste of 60 hours and $300 in materials..
Worst case scenario is there would be a nice toy at the end..
THanks,
Tony
