This is perhaps a bit of an odd request, but I'm a graphic artist and sculptor, and I very much enjoy traveling and boating. Right now I'm floating around renting rooms and doing work online, and I would really like a mobile base of operations that I can take with me (and save a bit on rent at the same time)- most probably a sail boat with passable living area.
My thought is a 20'- It would need to be sea worthy, but I only really need a closet sized room with a bed and small washroom, so that seems to me a viable solution. I would like to build it myself to my needs.
So, anybody with boat building experience they can share with me, a work yard, and who would like some free graphic and/or sculptural work, please contact me.
Things I can do:
-Create graphically appealing and functional websites.
-Create logos, business cards, letterheads, etc.
-Paint murals on things like buildings, walls, or the sides of boats.
-Sculpt mermaids or sea monsters for placement on boat prows?
-3d model.
Really, anything artistic or technical I can generally accomplish. I just need a place to work (and preferably crash as well, but that isn't absolutely necessary, just convenient), and a mentor with enthusiasm for boat building.
I can also assist in any difficult manual labor involved in any building projects you may have.
