Virginia based Marine & Naval Ship Design and Engineering Company has an urgent need to hire Naval and Ship Design Engineers and Ship Design Support Personnel (see position descriptions below) Positions are located in Virginia, DC and NYC
Naval Ship Design / Specialty Engineer – Senior ($90K+) DC, NYC, Newport News
Works independently (with minimal supervision), or on project teams Performs calculations applying engineering principles, techniques, procedures and criteria Develops analyses in area of specialization and prepares technical reports or other engineering documentation Develops, prepares technical specifications, develops test procedures for ensuring system performance
Seeking a “weights” engineer, a specialist that tracks and determines the total weight of the vessel being designed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent education. 8 to 12 years of professional engineering experience in Naval ship design required
U.S. Citizenship Required.
