Try switching the plug wires to see if it's a bad wire.

Lets see, last time i did it i pulled the wires of both sparkplugs and changed them to the other plug.
Note if you don’t want to test the compression bearing functions of your motor it would be best test the plugs unscrewed.

I would say the same thing. The wire is no good and needs to be replaced.

Upper cylinder lower cylinder,-- Change the wires over feeding the coils, If this doesnt do any thing then the problem is the coil. If it moves the spark to the other cylinder then the problem is before the coil. Actually if you cant get bits check out the small motor bike shop. Some times you can modify stuff.
If there has been arcing in the coil it will burn the plug wire (HT) lead If its shot then you loose nothing by diggin out the wire and replacing it -Epoxy it back in

Is It electronic ignition or breakers

What i would do if it were my engine is try this,--put the feed wire of the coil that is working to both coils, this would mean that you would spark both coils at bdc and at tdc, ( a wasted spark system) it should run on both cylinders,--if not its definately the bad coil. Or change over the coils in there position and see if you can run the bad cylinder. Its not common for coils to fail, I would pull out the HT lead from the coil and have a look.

I would hate for you to spend money on parts unecessarily.
