I have a 1952 Wolverine Wagemaker and I am looking to have the boat restored. I am trying to avoid doing it myself since most projects I attempt turn out looking like a 3rd grade art project.

Does any one have any suggestions for the best method to go about finding someone skilled in wooden boat restoration? I live in Michigan, on the East side of the state, and would be looking from someone close to the area.

This is the second time I've posted this message. I'm new to this forum so I think I may have posted the message in the wrong forum before. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Warmest regards,
~Kristen

Some photos would be wonderful, to give us some idea what you have :)
If you pay someone to do an entire restoration for you, it won't be cheap. You'll probably want some help, for sure, but I'd give serious thought to doing at least part of it yourself, if only for the satisfaction of making it truly 'your' boat.
Try the Directory on this site, there might be something suitable near you. http://411.com might be useful as well.
