The definition should include ANY method of transmitting the force ,
while a shaft is most common and cheapest Hydraulic and Electric have been used .

So, the function would be 'transfering' power from engine to propeller?
Can anyone tell me how it works?
Actually , I'm writing a report about propulsion systems,
but I'm comletely frustrated simply becuase I can hardly understand the propulsion systems. : (
Thank you anyway!

I have to write about the propulsion systems as a whole complex with comparison and evaluation, then what do I have to compare and evaluate?
between drive systems or the different types of each part?
Im not too sure I explained well enough : (

driveline = drive train , I think......... after engine to the end part.
People will understand properly if they encounter problem, to learn for pure fun is hard, like me....... welcome to the company of desperado....
