But all I found on the net were a kind of ad. ,or company's

Does anyone know any good web-sites or books that I can have a look?

Propulsion system means from the tip of the blade the cylinder in the engine.

Propulsion is whatever is involved in making it move -- sails/rigging/keel/engine/pedals/oars ...

Engines are a source of power for propulsion. The engine could be attached to a propeller, impeller, fan, paddle wheel, or some other device to complete a propulsion system.
