Hello !

I am looking for the complete list of the class societies. I have already 19 in my list but I know that more than 50 exit!
Can you help me??

Thanks

Celine

Do you mean "class boats" in general, olympic classes, or?

Because, the thing is, that if a boat is build in more than one example, then it could be considered a class. Think of the w-class for instance. The spirit yachts, swans, dories.

Then there are the whole thing about some boats being classifed in several classes at the same time, giving room for even more societies to form.

Also, are you talking world wide? Just take a look at the folkboats, and how many there are, both around here (Denmark) and in the US, and then make a list of the really small, local folkboat-class societies, up to the national and international level.

I doubt you will be able to find a complete list of class societies if I understand your question correctly.

Glad to see the sense of humour is alive and well - didn't mean to stomp on your post above.

You didn't stomp on anything. And if you did, I always liked a good spanking ... :D
