like a drift boat, 'rockered' up on both ends and flat on top, something good for rivers??? thanks

Look at dory designs. Drift boats are just dorys with more rocker.

I've heard of rowing standing up....but isn't the boat supposed to somewhat horizontal? ;)

It looks like so much fun to me. Curiously, those life guard-dories are double bottomed, and just about where his feet are, there are huge drain-holes in both sides.
