Yacht charter for Gulf of Mexico?

I've been obsessed with the idea to take my family and live on a motor yacht for a few months - leaving Houston and making stops along the way to Florida and they Keys - maybe further South.

Does anyone have suggestions on leasing / chartering a boat for the extended period?

I'd like to do this as kind of a test before buying a boat of our own to make sure the wife and kids will enjoy it.
