Woot! I'm famous, or maybe infamous

I made the front page of the local paper, in color no less!

http://www.bellinghamherald.com/2011...om-county.html

Of couse, they couldn't use any of the pics of me surfing the waves, or successfully punching through them on my way out, nooo, it had to be the one of me walking back in after I finally dumped it. Oh well, such is the nature of the news.

Whats that dark thing out there mid picture, or is it a missile going over head.

Anyway I was going to say you look a bit old for that sort of thing and I see you managed to get the shades on in time for the photo.

Yeah sure, sure...

Anyways, I want you to know that we are all happy that you've managed to survive the capsize and get back to your home, shaken but finaly safe.

Do we have a competition now to guess what the caption of the stoty was?

Knowing the press it would be:

Man Survives Shark Attack

A man is lucky to be alive today when his kayak capsized and hurled him into the ocean

An expert with the department of sanitation who was cleaning the local toilets and who saw the incident said today, "That's where sharks live."

The kayaker said he would be returning to the water after his close brush with death.

Or maybe one of these...

(fourth from the bottom)

Heavy rains and thawing snowpack in January dislodged debris from the Nooksack River and surrounding streams. Bellingham Bay was full of boating hazards like this enormous log, mostly submerged, that even had ferns growing from the base.
... It might be still floating around after 6 years
Nice to cheer us up with your adventures Cthippo Thanks..!!

Cheers,
Angel

PS - Looked again, seems to be a lot of drift logs overthere..

Frosty,
Is it just my feeling or without those stupid glasses your probability of mating skyrockets?

Hey Frosty,

With that plastic cat of yours you should think of drift logs immediately when you see something like that.... but then in te Strait of Malacca it could also be a missile

About the legs, I've looked at the legs of the Black Sheep and Mad Dogs (both MC) in Pattaya.... hilarious.... I hope I haven't seen you! Say hi to Patrick, I know him from Gent when he was a youngster and very atletic

Hi Cthippo,

Don't you have to run for the tsunami? If so, I wish you all the best..!!

Maybe you're OK behind Vancouver Island..?

Cheers,
Angel
