100 hp, 20+ liters of fuel per hour, just to make few jumps in and out of water... For me it's - no thanks.

That looks like an absolute blast!
I'd want a good helmet for learning.
I don't see doing it too many hours on end, so the fuel cost wouldn't bother me. I think after an hour you'd be tired out from so much plunging in and out.
