OK,
Another teaser, to keep this enjoyable thread alive.
I've not been there, but I've found this interesting place in Google Earth. What's its name and where is it?

Cheers.

Another teaser

I have not been to this exact location, but traveled this coast many years ago. In October I will spend a week here with my family.
I hope they have dingies for rent, or a kayak.

Raggi,

That helped. At first I thought Windhoek, but that's inland. Pulled up a map of Namibia and saw Walvis Bay and Luderitz. First choice, bullseye! Finding the confirmation link was serendipity. Al good fortune now used up.

I thought it was west coast Chile being arid and the corrugated iron roofs. Still...

Where were these taken?

Well done, Perry!

Now, wich one we focus on: Raggi's or RHP's
(Raggi, you were the first one, was your post intended to be a teaser?)
(RHP, teasers have to be boats related, I'm afraid)

Cheers.

Where is this ?

Sorry about very delayed reply to lazyjack's pic of (fw).
It is of course Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness near Drumnadrochit. Site of many 'Nessie' sightings and knee-deep in used condoms. Nearest true town Fort George 15 miles (west); and city - Inverness to the east, also approx 15 miles. Across the loch is the village of Dores - local pub 'was' owned by HR Queen's retired Lady in Waiting (but for what we never learned); and Boleskin House - originally owned by Alisdair crowley, and later by Led Zeplin - but now I'm told is a private hotel. Just off the beach at Dores are 'Salter's Ducks' - a series of floats (10) wired in tandom to generate wave-power electricity - and have been successfully lighting up the village(Dores) for the past 25 years.
