Hey guys, I'm back!

Too bad you didn't solved it yet

Let's try again with some new clues...................................

Tiny saw a lot of details (post#3626) but non of them is specific for the very tipical thing in the first pic.

No alas Guillermo, not Indonesia........., not even Asia.

- The place was known for pirates, slave traders and whale hunters.

- The whales were caught in ‘whale traps’. The peninsula provided good trapping grounds.

- They speak a European language.

- The girl -from the northern hemisphere- is world famous since the fifties and she popularized the place in the sixties. That's why her statue is there.

Good luck!
Angel

H. ‘‘ .... near the Amazon River .... ’’

G. ‘‘ Caju Bay at Delta of Parnaiba River, Maranhão State (MA), Brazil? ’’

Not near the Amazon or Parnaíba River.

It's more near a river that aint a river...........

Find the tipical thing -or- the girl -or- the ‘whale traps’ and you've found a place with such things near a river that aint a river

Good luck!
