Mallocean...maybe Mallorquín?
I have nothing personal against the 'llanitos', Mike. Just against the situation.
Cheers.

Guillermo your spelling looks kinda better than mine - what I was talking about is the local patois of Mallorca - apparantly pretty rare in Mallorca let alone in a Brit! (Father was/ still is a Englishman based in Gibraltar at the time of her birth, went back to England, retired and moved to Mallorca, the Sister now lives in Spain somewhere and works there to (naturally, we ain't that rich unlike who she works for) with horses, as I said strange girl!

As that great Scots humourist Mac McTwain remarked; "Foreigners always spell better than they pronounce..."

And Wyand - the clue to mine was '...borders the church..." It's Kirkwall in the Orkney Isles.

Heimaey on Vestmannaeyar (Westman Islands) on the south cost of Iceland.

One more rule:
We have to finish one quest before we start another one.
Please line up in a queue :-)

Did you get an answer to this one?
Looks a little like Copenhagen.

Not as grand, Raggi. It's Kirkwall in the Orkneys. But thanks for trying.

If we are ready for a new one, this is a place I haven't been yet, but I am attracted to it after reading some books, and I want to sail there some day, even if it's crowded in the summer, they say.

Raggi, Bergalia, the question is who wants them? Apparantly they don't even want themselves - that's why you find so many abroad!!

Raggi, my friend (I'm ignoring that Cornish lump of offal) - Looking at your latest offering I seem to recognise a cluster of 'Dragons', so obviously a 'clubby' shoreline. The shoreline also seems to be sporting at least a couple of Morton Bay Fig trees and what looks like a Norfolk Island Pine...Soooo, somewhere in Australia ? Down towards Manly perhaps ?

Why Bergalia that's a fine touching complement from ye! considering that the national dises of Scotland are all made from offal! Haggis, mince and tatties to name two! (poor dentistry, inability to cook or too stingy to buy proper meat is open to conjecture!)
