Wyand old chum - just tuned in again and noticed you'd posted a pic/s of the Wave Rock...If you were sailing that far inland I suggest you get your compass checked....

Lazeyjack - I reckon yours could be Dusseldorf...Bridge looks familiar...

And if I can add my contribution:

Northern hemisphere; few trees; lots of dykes; and borders the church...

Can only be Holland or the Netherlands as it is commonly known......

well i,LL give you a clue, it begins with B, the Germans are going to build a fast train link there 10 hrs from Frankfurt and it is not bratislave neither is it Bucheresti

Actually all Gibraltar needs is a good frost and it's problems would be sorted! It's that rotten it would fall apart (it does still have a use tho' - good for winding Spaniards up! and my little sister was actually born there - yes there's more of us! But she's wierd, speaks Spanish like a local (actually speaks fluent Mallocean - come on Guillermo help me with this one!) and rides horses!
