What news of Masrapido ?

Anyone out there heard from Masrapido recently - last reported heading south in USA towards Florida just before big winds. Hope his silence isn't ominous

Hey Bergalia mon, dinna even think it! I'm sure he's got a very good reason for not talking - probably a bit confused with your Spanish an' all - I know I am! (there's this unfounded rumour concerning Cornwall and a certain Amada back when you where a lad! Must have been 'Guzz' based at some time; plus there was a lot of mackeral plundering by ye Scottish Fishing Chappies back in the eighties if I remember! I know, I was up nicking all YOUR oil, mon).

Any way I'm hoping he's OK, pretty sure he is!

What news of Masrapido

Well I hope it is just my 'Spanish', Walrus. Let's be honest - for a 'foreigner' he sounded OK. Good enough to be a partial Scot. And there may be something in that, harking back to the Armarda. Hit by storms half the fleet were grounded and sunk off the Hebrides. Bleedin crews leapt ashore - straight onto our women. And that accounts for all the dark skinned curly headed Islanders with names like Pedro MacLaren, Juan MacIver, and Hernandez Campbell etc.
Still - God speed Masrapido.

What news of Masrapido

Hola yourself, mi 'lost' amigo. Why didn't you call, tell the milkman, leave word at the pub....We've all been worried about you down in those 'primitive' parts, what with the wind blowing, loose women, and strong drink...Even ET calls home now and again....
But good to know you are safe and well Masrapido. Missed your salty remarks (even though I didn't understand half of them....)
OK Jeff, I guess we can close this thread. He's back.

There it is again... Yank Bashing!
Better be careful. I understand that now that George Bush ("Shrub") is an honorary Australian citizen, he's thinking that he will "retire" to running New South Wales in Australia. Be nice or we'll encourage him!

Naw Bergalia that's non issue to Yanks, at least I had one , still got it - in a jar on the shelf! Even the great 'Shrub' was never issued with a brain - thought they said drains and asked for an empty one! Governer of New South Wales? Well he's buggered up old South Wales with his advice to 'Blur' so no doubt he'll do the same with NSW! Still give the Yanks a break - boy do they need one!

Wrong again Artemis - 'The Shrub' already runs Australia. Our brown-nosed Prime Minister has his tongue so far up Bush's rear end that it's a surprise he can still breathe. (And it's a pity that he can...)
Ooops. Under his new 'anti-terrorism laws I can be thrown in the slammer for three weeks without charge, and no-one being informed of where I am, just for thinking that...let alone expressing it.
But enough of politics.
As for 'Yank bashing,' you know it's all in fun Artemis. A tradition amongst us Brits, even us ex-Brits. A national sport. I mean if it wasn't for 'Yank bashing' we'd just go back to teasing the French (and that's no fun because the poor buggers can't even speak English...)

Couldn't agree with you more about the French. Probably about the only decent thing John Lackland did whilst king was to lose most of France to Phillip (I think I understand better why Richard III went on Crusade).

There again France was an earlier colony we lost, but at least the natives in the newer one are kind of friendly!

here's a thought...france british colony...is that why the isle is called little britain? and famous food like quiche lorraine and the minute fact that french was official language on anglo court for 500+ years...

if that's how they colonised, how come brits speak no hindu or pakistani?

and still unable to tell the difference between a brazillian and an arab...
( this one for me mate d'artois who doesn't like politics!)

we had a ball with us bashing lately around here. forrest gump had to leave B.A. earlier than planned. demos cratos wouldn't let him enjoy sightseeing...I'll spare you from jokes, but there are some pearls floating around. us is definitely out of s. america. along with their arse-lickers and by them installed dictators.

(should I not appear in a day or two, pockets of hardline resistance, funded illegally by CIA will have found me...)
