My take - truck too old, boat's too small and bikini's too big What's wrong with you Manie... we were just thinking you were coming right for a change

Those bikini chick are computer generated. There's no way in hell that any place could have them and I've been to a couple of places. So dream on china. You can soil your sheets with Mas.

Photo of the --- truck. Must be ages old as the beer dumpies still have that round top parts. and that was many moons ago when beer was still in an experimental stage.

Manie, the guy with the John Travolta look and flashy white shoes reminds me a lot of you - when you still had a bit more hair and and disco was king

Gee Manie, your truck has those lowered tyres too..... sexy, more traction on the road and less windage if the mudguards fall off

I see the Jarcat has room for a bikini clad crew - the bikini is another Australian invention!

See ya soon Manie, I hope to start building soon.... (within 12 months)

You just want me to get into trouble in .au. Now you think I'm going to stroll your beaches and poke at things with a stick ? Mmmm but then on the other hand If yer going to give me a dog then I want a sniffer, not a seeing one and it mustn't be able to talk and spread rumours

Oh well his first outing will be to watch a game of cricket - he can either streak if the match is boring (got to be a VERY fast runner for if caught will be arrested), or, will get his middle wicket hit by a fast Aussy ball......

Don't need a sniffer.... All Aussy dogs talk (well swear - limited vocabulary - usually "**** off hairy legs, you creep"......

Visited Aussie land during 1995 and convinced the old bird about the beautiful beaches in Sydney that is a must see, and purposely took her to Bondi (that was at the time when our local lasses haven't evolved from stars as nipples yet) and did I had **** on my plate after that. To this date I still cannot get the missus to a beach, any beach....

Prefer Perth over Sydney anytime however.

Geez finally i dont have to stand back any more and even watch 16 year olds building something that looks like a boat, i admire them for trying, hope they keep it up.

Well this bloomin old fart has pulled hid finger out of his bum and got going - finally

cleared out a huge load of rubbish to clear the area.
Building for me is a little different to other folks - i share the garage with my daughter - it is her DANCE STUDIO.
it is quite difficult to always work supper clean, but heck beggars cant be choosers.

This is going to be an interesting build because it is the maximum size that i could fit - no space to swing a cat!

My "rotor collar" operation of March seems to be holding out, but the shoulder is definately still a bit weak. The knees of course are flippen SORE from starting on the floor he he he

Wynand will understand exactly where i am at when he sees these drawings, he was there six months ago

Anyway gents
keep it up
go man go

My "rotar collar" operation - after philimon's wife wiped me off me motorcycle - seemed OK at the time, however, 21 months later Im having problems with it and am limited in movement and painful at times. Thinking of going back for a refund soon, and the surgeon can have his screws back

Spent the weekend working. Sunday we cut the back ends of the ropes on the winder used for hoisting gold ore to surface. This is a **** job at best of times and lasted the whole damn day. Have I said dirty as well....

Hi Wynand

Just out of curiousity, how much time do you spend at the mine and how much on the boat

What is the time schedule looking like at present for the boat, i think that the hull and deck went very well all things considered for this country.

Are you using your "steel" team for interior as well or have you got "carpenters" for that. Will the interior be "working boat" and practical or will it be five star ivory and gold inlays into french polished exotic woods?

When are you hoping to start the rigging, because surely that is outdoors.

After all my years mining and boiler making i must say that it is fun to get down on the hands and knees again with the chalk line and big square, especially because i am doing it purely for myself, totally self indulgence, unashamedly so!

I have taken Fanie's advice - my fridge for this boat is definately 12 volt, single plate gas cooker, and 20 litre porta potty. Painted interior and simple, galvanised rigging. What more could a man want?

I will post pics as soon as there is something worth while to shoot
